601 Spring, Shreveport Louisiana | Rebecca and Cameron #thebestisyettobey

Over the last year, I had the pleasure of working with the most beautiful family while designing an exquisite day for Mr. and Mrs. Cameron Tobey. It was truly a dream from the very beginning.

First United Methodist Church was the setting for the ceremony uniting Rebecca Catherine Davis and Cameron Lee Tobey in downtown Shreveport, Louisiana. Father Pat Daye officiated their marriage on Saturday, August 3, 2019.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a ball gown by Justin Alexander with a beautiful and hand-beaded waistband. The gown was complete with a cathedral length veil. Rebecca carried a hand tied bouquet of white and ivory garden roses, ranunculus, lush greenery and tied off with gorgeous satin ribbon.

Following the nuptials, guests arrived to cocktail period at 601 Spring Street where they were treated to a glass of champagne while discovering their seat for dinner at the custom built champagne wall(s). Following cocktail period, Uncle of the Groom, Mr. Tom Campbell escorted wedding guests into the formal ballroom while playing his world-renowned bagpipes. Guests entered the ballroom where they were wowed with head-to-toe floral, specialty linens, customized menu’s, place settings, and a custom dance floor monogram.

Following the plated dinner, intimate toasts were given by friends and family, then followed with entertainment for the rest of the evening as they danced the night away. Rebecca and Cameron were sent off with a beautiful sparkler exit and into a life full of happiness and love.

BIG shout out to the Mother of the bride, Doctor Julie Davis and the bride, Rebecca Davis Tobey. These ladies are the essence of real beauty inside and out. I am so honored to have been a part of their special day and loved every minute of planning with them. It’s a wedding that I will never forget.

I cannot find the right words to express the love, gratitude, and admiration we have for Kayla in helping us create the wedding our youngest daughter dreamed of! From the first meeting, we were drawn to Kayla’s kindness, grace, style, professionalism, and knowledge. Her ability to listen to our needs, create a reasonable budget then keep us all working within it, recommend vendors that suited our desires, act as the liaison between mother, bride, vendors, calm anxieties as they arose, and keep us all informed and organized were more than we could have ever asked for. Her attention to detail and efficiency were amazing. Rebecca’s wedding weekend was more beautiful and more fun than we even imagined, and we are so thankful to Kayla for her immense role in bringing it to fruition! We miss her now that it’s over!
